Environmental & Ethical
It is the Overall Policy of Bookpoint Ltd to operate the
business in the best environmental practices possible. The
points stated below will give guidance on the achievement of this
overall policy.

- Bookpoint will maintain its current good environmental
practices to control and make best use of the resources used.
- Bookpoint will meet all relevant environmental legislation and
regulation appropriate to the business. Bookpoint will also
make every effort to be in the forefront of environmental thinking
prior to it becoming legislation.
- Bookpoint will ensure control of any waste discharge, which may
have an adverse affect on the environment. We are committed
to prevention of pollution of the environment.
- Bookpoint will review the environmental impact of its
activities and act on any areas that have significant adverse
affect on the environment. Further reviews will be carried
out periodically to confirm that there have been no additional
activities with any significant impact on the environment.
- Top Management will review the environmental aspects of the
business periodically to review the progress of the environmental
objects and targets and, where considered beneficial, the setting
of the new objectives and targets. The principal aim is for a
programme of continual improvement in Bookpoint's environmental
performance.
- Environmental processes as required by the ISO standard and to
achieve the policies and objectives will be documented, implemented
and maintained.
- Employees will be made aware of the impact of their actions on
the environment and Bookpoint's environmental policies and
objectives.
- Employees with specific responsibilities for processes with an
environmental impact will be trained in the Company's
requirements.
This year (from January to end of September 2009) with the
environmental systems in place, Bookpoint has recycled 95.23%
of the waste produced with only 4.77% going to landfill.
